Tehran (HRNW) – China has described Pakistan’s recent diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions between the United States and Iran as constructive, reliable and valuable for promoting regional stability.
According to international media reports, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Kang Peiwu said that Pakistan played a positive diplomatic role in efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East and support initiatives related to regional security and maritime stability.
In an interview with Iranian media, the ambassador stated that Pakistan made significant efforts to facilitate communication among different parties and help create an environment conducive to dialogue. He said China highly values such diplomatic initiatives.
Kang Peiwu noted that countries capable of encouraging communication between parties in conflict become particularly important during periods of heightened regional tension. According to him, Pakistan has demonstrated its ability to act as a responsible and reliable diplomatic partner during recent developments.
Referring to efforts aimed at reducing tensions between Iran and the United States, the Chinese envoy said Pakistan contributed positively by helping encourage dialogue and coordination, which supported broader efforts to maintain regional stability.
The ambassador also reaffirmed China’s support for diplomatic initiatives that promote peace, security and economic development in the Middle East. He emphasized that Beijing views dialogue, negotiation and political engagement as the most effective means of achieving lasting peace in the region.
According to Kang Peiwu, diplomacy remains essential for resolving disputes and building sustainable stability among regional and international stakeholders.
