UMERKOT (HRNW) – In a shocking incident near Samaro in the village of Ramzan Shar, a man allegedly murdered his own brother and wife under the pretext of Karo-Kari (honor killing).
According to police sources, the suspect, identified as Umeed Ali Shar, strangled his wife and brother to death. Upon receiving information, law enforcement personnel reached the site and shifted the deceased woman’s body to the hospital for legal formalities.
Authorities stated that the body of the murdered young man was not found at the crime scene. According to the police, there are reports that the suspect threw his brother’s body into the Mithrao Wah canal, and a search operation has been launched to recover it.
While the police have claimed to arrest the central suspect immediately following the incident, they have not officially disclosed the formal identification details of the detained individual to the media. Further investigation into the double homicide is underway.
