LAHORE (HRNW) – Acting on an intelligence tip-off, Mozang police conducted an operation near Mozang Adda and arrested a suspect, identified as Fayyaz Jatt, for running a betting racket on the Pakistan-Australia cricket match. According to a report by Mian Humair, police recovered a register used for recording bets, a mobile phone, and a heavy amount of wagered cash from his possession. A case has been registered against the suspect, and he has been handed over to the investigation wing. SP Civil Lines Chaudhry Azhar Ali emphasized that law enforcement is strictly maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against gamblers.
