Pakistan Women’s Football Team Secures Third Place in FIFA Series with Win Over Ivory Coast

Lahore (HRNW)- In the ongoing FIFA series in Ivory Coast, the Pakistan Women’s Football Team performed brilliantly and secured the third position by defeating the host team 0-2 in the final match.

The national team performed brilliantly throughout the tournament. Goalkeeper Ziana Georaj played an important role in the team’s success by saving several clear goals.

During the match, player Anmol Hira was shown a red card and sent off the field.

In the series, Pakistan defeated the Turks and Caicos Football Team 0-8 in the first leg while winning the match against the Mauritania Women’s Football Team 0-1.

After the final match, head coach Adeel Rizki said that the players showed excellent discipline and structure. According to him, playing against strong teams is a great opportunity to learn and this will further improve the team’s performance.
