Islamabad (HRNW)- Due to the ongoing war tension in the Middle East, crude oil prices have increased significantly in the global market, which is also likely to affect petroleum products in Pakistan.
The price of Brent crude oil in the international market increased by 5.79 percent in a single day to reach $77.09 per barrel. After the American and Israeli attacks on Iran, the overall price of oil in the global market increased by 10 percent, as a result of which the price reached $80 per barrel.
Experts say that if crude oil prices continue to increase at the same pace in the global market, petrol prices in Pakistan are also expected to increase significantly. The government and relevant agencies are reviewing the market conditions to determine prices.
Consumers have been appealed to be careful in using fuel in the current situation and keep an eye on the government announcement regarding necessary measures.
