KARACHI (HRNW): The Investigation Wing of the East Zone, Malir, achieved a significant breakthrough as the Sukhan Police investigative team successfully recovered an 11-year-old girl, Benazir, daughter of Ali Asghar, who had been missing since mid-February.
The recovery stems from a kidnapping case (FIR No. 79/26) registered at Sukhan Police Station on February 16, 2026, under Section 364-A of the Pakistan Penal Code, filed by the girl’s father, Ali Asghar. Acting on the directives of the SSP Investigation Malir, the specialized team utilized a combination of technical surveillance and human intelligence to trace and safely recover the minor.
The recovered girl will be produced before a competent court to record her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). While the child has been safely reunited with the authorities, the police confirmed that raids are currently underway to apprehend the suspects involved in the abduction. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing to uncover the full circumstances of the case.
