Tehran (HRNW)- Iran has urged Gulf countries not to allow their territory, airspace, or military facilities to be used by the United States or Israel for any action against Iran.
According to a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, all countries in the region, especially those located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf, have a legal and moral responsibility to prevent their territories from being used for hostile activities targeting Iran.
The statement emphasized that the use of any country’s land, airspace, or facilities to plan, organize, support, or carry out military operations against Iran could pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said the current regional situation remains highly sensitive and called on neighboring countries to support peace, stability, and diplomatic solutions instead of contributing to further escalation.
Tehran also stressed that regional states should avoid actions that could intensify conflicts, while respecting the principles of sovereignty and regional security.
Iran’s statement comes at a time when tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel have placed the Middle East security situation under intense international scrutiny. Political analysts view Tehran’s message to Gulf countries as significant for regional unity, security cooperation, and potential military developments.
