Fire Erupts at Mart Near Delhi Colony in Clifton, Karachi

KARACHI (HRNW): A fire broke out earlier today at a departmental store located on the ground floor of a multi-story building near Delhi Colony in the Clifton area of Karachi. Upon receiving the emergency call, the Fire Brigade dispatched four fire tenders to the scene, where teams are currently working to extinguish the blaze.

The affected building is a mixed-use structure, featuring the mart on the ground floor, three levels dedicated to parking, and ten upper floors consisting of residential apartments. Rescue officials confirmed that all residents were successfully evacuated from the building as a precautionary measure.

Firefighters have managed to contain the flames to the ground floor, preventing the fire from spreading to the parking area or the residential sections above. While the fire is being brought under control, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far. The cooling process is expected to begin shortly after the fire is fully doused.
