ISLAMABAD (HRNW)– Four judges of the Islamabad High Court, including Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz, and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, have prepared a draft petition to challenge the 27th Amendment in the Supreme Court.
The petition is expected to be filed today, although sources in the Supreme Court and Federal Constitutional Court stated that no formal petition has been officially received yet. The challenging judges aim to review the constitutionality and implications of the amendment through the highest judicial forum.
