Karachi (HRNW)- The intra-party elections of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Karachi Division were held at the Islamic Research Center, where Kazim Abbas was elected as the President of the Karachi Division for the next three years.
The election results were announced by Central Vice Chairman Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, while Provincial President Allama Hayat Abbas Najafi was also present on the occasion. Hundreds of party leaders, officials and workers participated in the convention.
Addressing the gathering after his election, Kazim Abbas said that the central objective of his political struggle is to support oppressed communities and raise a voice against injustice. He pledged to highlight the issues faced by Karachi’s citizens, including challenges related to basic rights, civic services and administrative policies.
Speaking on international affairs, he expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and called on the Muslim world to support those affected by the ongoing conflict. He also criticized regional policies that, in his view, do not adequately prioritize the interests of the Muslim Ummah.
The convention concluded with party leaders reaffirming their commitment to organizational development and public welfare initiatives across Karachi.
