Lebanon (HRNW)- The 10-day ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel has officially begun. As soon as the news of the ceasefire came out, citizens took to the streets in the Lebanese capital Beirut and expressed their joy.
According to eyewitnesses, celebrations were held in different areas of Beirut, people chanted slogans, while shots were fired in the air to celebrate. Citizens said that the ceasefire brought a sigh of relief after a long period of tension.
On the other hand, the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel also received a reaction in the Iranian capital Tehran, where the atmosphere was filled with slogans in favor of Hezbollah.
According to political observers, the ceasefire is temporary, but it is being described as an important step forward for peace in the region. The international community is also keeping a close eye on the situation.
