Karachi (HRNW)- The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has revoked South Air’s permission to operate commercial flights from private airfields, citing violations of aviation regulations.
According to a letter issued by the Civil Aviation Authority to South Air CEO Nishat Fatima, commercial flight operations are not permitted at the Juzak airfield in Talhar and Saindak, as private airfields cannot be used for commercial services under CAA rules.
The CAA has formally barred South Air from operating commercial flights from the Juzak airfield in Talhar and Saindak and warned that strict legal action will be taken against any violations of aviation regulations.
The authority further stated that operators intending to conduct commercial flights from private airfields must first obtain a charter license from the Civil Aviation Authority. Consequently, the previously issued flight operation permit for the Juzak airfield in Talhar and Saindak has been revoked.
