Sialkot (HRNW) — The FIA Immigration Sialkot successfully intercepted nine passengers attempting to travel illegally to Europe under the guise of tourist visas.
The intercepted passengers include Tasawar Abbas, Muhammad Siddique, Babar Hussain, Muhammad Saleem, Ikhlaq Ahmed, Mukarrab Al-Hasan, Muhammad Talha, Imran Sikander, and Usman Ali, hailing from Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, and Narowal.
The passengers were attempting to travel on Flight FZ316 via Dubai to the African country Djibouti. During immigration clearance, authorities found their travel suspicious.

Initial investigations revealed that the passengers planned to travel from Djibouti to Libya and then illegally cross the Mediterranean to Europe. Each passenger had reportedly paid PKR 4.2 million to an agent to facilitate the illegal journey.
The passengers have now been transferred to the Composite Circle Gujranwala for further legal action, confirmed an FIA spokesperson.
