Hyderabad (HRNW)– Police conducted a series of operations across different areas, arresting 10 suspects involved in fraud, narcotics, illegal gas supply, and sale of gutka and mainpuri.
Nasim Nagar police arrested Zaheer Ahmed, wanted for deceiving citizens and extorting money. A case (Crime No. 563/2025 under sections 420, 504, 506(2)) was registered. During investigation, it was revealed that he was also absconding in Karachi’s Tipu Sultan Police case (Crime No. 470/2025 under section 489F).
In another action, police arrested Shehzad and Shehraz Bhatti for illegal LPG sale, registering Crime No. 565/2025 under sections 188 and 34 PPC.
Pabban police arrested drug peddler Urs Mallah with 10 grams of crystal ice, registering Crime No. 408/2025 under CNS Act section 9(2)1.
Hali Road police arrested mainpuri supplier Fida Hussain alias Pappu Machhi with 500 packets and seized his rickshaw (Crime No. 237/2025).
Sakhi Pir police detained Shehroz Qureshi with 365 sachets of gutka (Crime No. 138/2025).
Hosri police arrested Anwar Pathan for illegally supplying gas cylinders and registered Crime No. 406/2025 under sections 285 and 286 PPC. His shop was sealed. Another suspect, Zaman Ali Dahyo, was arrested in a theft attempt case (Crime No. 407/2025 under sections 379, 511 PPC).
Pinjari police arrested Ehtisham Arain with 250 mainpuri, while Sharif Abbasi fled, leaving 300 packets behind. In another case, Khuzaima Qureshi was arrested with 480 mainpuri, while Arshad Dhobi escaped, leaving 995 packets. Cases were registered under Crime Nos. 185/2025 and 186/2025.
Hyderabad Police stated that operations against criminal elements are continuing with full momentum.
