KARACHI (HRNW): Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, is scheduled to formally launch the latest polio eradication campaign across the province tomorrow, Monday, April 13, 2026. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 11:00 AM at the ECK, Government Boys Secondary School, located on Khayaban-e-Shujaat in DHA Phase 2, South Karachi. High-ranking officials from the health department and representatives from international health organizations are expected to attend the event, which underscores the provincial government’s commitment to achieving a polio-free status for Sindh. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister is expected to emphasize the critical importance of vaccinations in safeguarding children from permanent disability and will urge parents to extend full cooperation to the frontline polio workers. The Sindh government has finalized all logistical and security arrangements for the drive, directing district administrations to ensure that every child in the province is reached during this vital health initiative.
