Lahore High Court Restores Imran Khan’s Petition, Orders Hearing to Be Rescheduled

Lahore (HRNW) The High Court has ordered to reschedule the hearing of Imran Khan’s petition, which was rejected for non-compliance.

According to HRNW News, the Lahore High Court has restored Imran Khan’s petition in the matter of consolidation of cases filed against PTI founder Imran Khan. The court also directed the Registrar’s Office to schedule the petition for hearing on November 25.

It may be recalled that the court had rejected this petition on the grounds of non-compliance.

During the hearing, the Chief Justice asked lawyer Intizar Panjotha why negative remarks were made about the court? If something was wrong, then he should admit his mistake. On this occasion, the court ordered Intizar Panjotha to leave the rostrum.

The court summoned Sardar Latif Khosa to the rostrum for arguments and said that you still saw that the case was called. If you proceed with honesty, it would be much better. The court is not concerned with any case. No one else has given you as much relief as this court has given you. The court did not apply any such filter. It is not possible that some lawyers received the message and some did not. The court also worked on the day when you were on strike.

Lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa said that they did not receive the information, due to which they did not appear. We are also on strike for the respect of the judiciary. Intezar Panjotha apologizes.

After the arguments of PTI founder Sardar Latif Khosa before Chief Justice Alia Neelam, the public prosecutor initially informed the court about the details of 107 cases.

It should be remembered that the PTI founder had approached the court to consolidate the proceedings of all the cases.
