Karachi (HRNW)- Security has been tightened at the airport and its surroundings. According to sources, additional Rangers, police and ASF troops are being deployed on the airport premises and surrounding roads to avoid any untoward incident.
The administration has issued clear instructions that only passengers will be allowed to enter the airport, while those who come without a reason have been urged to avoid heading to the airport.
In addition, security has also been increased at the Pakistan Airports Authority headquarters and the headquarters of PIA and Civil Aviation Authorities. Only vehicles of employees and residents will be allowed to enter the Civil Aviation Colony, while a ban has been imposed on going to the airport, PIA head office and PA headquarters from the PIA Township road.
Passengers have been instructed to reach the airport well before their flight as additional time may be taken on the way due to strict checking.
