Pakistan Airspace Fully Safe and Operational, PAA Confirms Amid Regional Tensions

Karachi (HRNW)- The Pakistan Airports Authority has said that the country’s airspace is fully available and safe. In view of the current tense regional security situation, the PAA has issued a statement saying that the country’s airspace is fully available and safe.

According to the PAA, Iranian airspace is not available, however, overflight traffic in Pakistan is currently normal, and the Pakistan Airports Authority is prepared for a possible increase in air traffic during the night hours.

The PAA says that according to the Iranian NOTAM, Tehran airspace is closed from 11:30 am to 05:00 pm PKT, some increase in Pakistan airspace traffic is expected in case of extension of the Iranian NOTAM. The authority says that all operations are running normally and safety is the first priority.
