Rawalpindi (HRNW) — Alima Khan has expressed fear of her arrest while demanding that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf receive treatment at Al-Shifa Hospital under the supervision of his personal physician.
After appearing before the Anti-Terrorism Court, she stated that the PTI founder’s release would only be possible once Justice Sarfaraz Dogar hears the pending cases. Upon grant of bail, he would be taken directly from jail to Al-Shifa Hospital for medical treatment.
Alima Khan criticized the judicial process, noting that the judge originally assigned to the case went on leave, which she described as unfair. She added that treatment for the founder’s eye would begin immediately upon release from jail.
She also held the former Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Ghafoor Anjum, responsible for the deterioration of the founder’s eye condition and stated that criminal negligence and related charges will be filed, with her lawyers already instructed to proceed.
