Islamabad High Court to Hear Iman Mazari, Hadi Ali Chatha Sentence Suspension Pleas on July 24

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Islamabad High Court has fixed July 24 for the hearing of petitions seeking the suspension of the sentences of Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in the controversial tweets case.

According to the cause list issued by the Registrar Office of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Muhammad Azam Khan will hear the petitions.

The development follows the Supreme Court’s order of July 12, directing the Islamabad High Court to decide the petitions filed by Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha within two weeks.

The case had previously been scheduled for hearing on June 4, but the cause list was later withdrawn, delaying the proceedings.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is also scheduled to hear the petitions for suspension of sentence filed by Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha on July 21.
