Beijing (HRNW)- China has emphasized the importance of respecting Iran’s sovereignty and security amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
According to media reports, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity must be respected and protected.
The remarks come at a time when tensions are increasing in the Middle East, with conflicts between Iran and other regional and international actors intensifying.
Wang Yi reiterated China’s principled stance against interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states, stressing that disputes should be resolved through dialogue, diplomacy, and negotiations.
He added that China aims to help reduce tensions, prevent escalation, and encourage the international community to exercise restraint.
