Washington (HRNW) – The inaugural meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace, formed under the guidance of Donald Trump, began in Washington today, drawing diplomatic delegations from around the world. Attendees posed for photographs with President Trump at the historic event.

In his opening address, President Trump praised Field Marshal Asim Munir and Shehbaz Sharif, calling Asim Munir “a great man” and expressing admiration for Prime Minister Sharif. US Vice President JD Vance and more than a dozen senior US officials and representatives associated with the Board of Peace are also scheduled to speak.

The meeting is intended to oversee administrative and rehabilitation efforts in Gaza following the recent ceasefire. Foreign leaders participating in the Board will outline proposals concerning security, humanitarian assistance, reconstruction, and long-term stability for the region.

According to US officials, the Board of Peace aims to establish an international administrative structure to ensure lasting peace and humanitarian support in Gaza. However, the initiative has sparked debate globally, with some critics labeling the project as controversial.
