Karachi (HRNW)– MQM-Pakistan’s Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nasir Hussain Qureshi delivered a passionate speech on the floor of the Sindh Assembly, addressing the Speaker and provincial ministers. He proposed that during the holy month of Ramadan, the government should waive utility bills for mosques, take responsibility for paying the salaries of Imams, and install solar power systems in religious institutions. He emphasized that these steps are entirely feasible and essential for the welfare of the public and religious centers.
MPA Nasir Hussain Qureshi stated that such an initiative would not only provide much-needed relief to places of worship but would also serve as a profound gesture of social empathy and religious respect. He issued a strong demand to the Sindh Government to provide immediate relief to both the public and mosques to ensure that fasting and prayers can continue smoothly throughout the sacred month.
