Afghan Taliban Government Prioritizes Security and Propaganda Over Public Welfare Amid Economic Crisis

Kabul (HRNW)- The Afghan Taliban government has been accused of neglecting public welfare and development, with 88% of the national budget spent on non-developmental activities. Despite a severe economic crisis, funds for social and economic projects remain limited, while billions were allocated for security of leadership, propaganda, and internal enforcement. Analysts warn that such budget priorities have worsened the hardships of ordinary Afghan citizens.
