Bela (HRNW) — Acting on special instructions from Bela SSP Najeebullah Pandrani to act against criminal elements, SHO Bela Yar Muhammad Commando led a successful police operation with his team, arresting a suspect wanted in a kidnapping case and safely recovering the abducted woman.
Details indicate the arrest relates to FIR No. 40/2026 under section 498‑T P. The detained suspect is named as Asif Ali, son of Shaman Ali, of the Jamot caste, originally from Naseerabad district and reportedly residing at Gul Muhammad Goth, Noorani Hotel, Manghopir, Karachi. During the operation the abducted woman, identified as Sadra daughter of Babu, resident of Band Murad Sakran, was recovered safe.
Bela police have begun further interrogation of the arrested suspect and are investigating other aspects of the case. Authorities said legal proceedings will follow based on evidence collected.
