Lahore (HRNW)- Due to heavy fog, the schedule of trains departing from Lahore and Faisalabad to Karachi, Quetta and Rawalpindi, including other cities, has been changed.
According to railway officials, Karakoram Express 42-Down, which was scheduled to depart for Karachi at 3 pm, will depart from Lahore at 4:30 pm, 1 hour and 30 minutes late due to fog.
In addition, Pak Business Express 34-Down will depart for Karachi at its scheduled time of 4:30 pm.
According to the railway schedule, Karachi Express 16-Down is also delayed by 30 minutes, and will now depart from Lahore at 6:30 pm.
According to officials, all other trains going to Karachi, Quetta and Rawalpindi, including other cities, are running as per their scheduled time.
On the instructions of Divisional Superintendent Railways Lahore Inamullah, Passenger Facilitation staff will be present at the stations round the clock to facilitate passengers.
The railway administration has appealed to passengers to contact Railway Inquiry Number 117 for further guidance and latest information.
