UAE Arrests 10 Suspects for Spreading Misleading Content on Social Media

Abu Dhabi, UAE (HRNW) — The Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, has ordered the arrest of 10 suspects from various countries.

According to the news agency WAM, the suspects were taken into custody for broadcasting misleading and baseless video clips on social media platforms and will be presented for immediate trial.

Authorities emphasized that the UAE will enforce strict legal action against anyone spreading false information or misleading the public online, in order to protect public awareness and national security.
