Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has described the recently announced two-week ceasefire with Iran as a “complete and overwhelming victory” for the United States.
In an interview with AFP, Trump called the deal a “100 percent success” for the US, claiming it would ensure effective control over Iran’s uranium reserves. He also acknowledged China’s key role in bringing Iran to the negotiating table, making the ceasefire possible.
President Trump further stated on his social media platform Truth Social that the US would assist in stabilizing maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, providing various supplies to ensure security and smooth operations in the region.
