Gold Prices Rise in Global and Local Markets, Silver Declines

Karachi (HRNW)- Gold prices recorded an increase in both the global and local bullion markets on Thursday, while silver prices declined.

According to market reports, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market rose by $4, bringing the new global price to $4,030.

Following the upward trend in international markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in Pakistan’s local bullion market increased by Rs400 on the fourth business day of the week, reaching Rs425,436.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs343, taking the new rate to Rs364,742.

In contrast, silver prices moved downward in the local market. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs134 to Rs6,155, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs115, settling at Rs5,276.
