US Claims Fresh Strikes on Iranian Military Targets, Including Bandar Abbas

Washington (HRNW)- The United States military has claimed that it has successfully carried out another round of strikes on multiple Iranian military targets under the direction of President Donald Trump, targeting several key military installations across Iran.

According to a statement issued by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), American forces struck Iran’s command and control centers, air defense systems, missile and drone capabilities, coastal surveillance facilities, and other military targets.

The statement added that several targets were also hit in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, which is regarded as one of Iran’s most important naval and military hubs due to its strategic location near the Strait of Hormuz.

US officials said the objective of the operation was to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities and reduce its ability to conduct military activities around the Strait of Hormuz.

There was no immediate official response from Iranian authorities to the US claims, and the extent of any damage or casualties resulting from the reported strikes could not be independently confirmed.

Defense analysts say the strategic importance of Bandar Abbas and the Strait of Hormuz means that any military action in the area could have significant implications for global trade, oil shipments, and regional security.

According to international observers, the continuing tensions between Iran and the United States are further complicating the security situation in the region, while the international community continues to urge both sides to pursue a diplomatic solution.
