Karachi (HRNW)- Flour mill owners in Karachi have begun setting up fair price stalls across the city, where a 10-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs1,250.

Following an announcement by the Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA), fair price stalls have started operating to provide flour to citizens at the subsidized rate of Rs125 per kilogram.

Ittehad Flour Mills in Ittehad Town has also established a fair price stall and displayed banners informing customers about the reduced flour prices.

The initiative follows a meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, attended by the chairman and members of the Pakistan Flour Mills Association. During the meeting, flour mill owners agreed to sell flour at Rs125 per kilogram through fair price stalls across the city to provide relief to consumers.
