Lahore Court Rejects Interim Bail of SHO in Magistrate Threat Case

Lahore (HRNW)- A sessions court in Lahore has rejected the interim bail of SHO Defense-C Farhad due to his non-appearance in a case involving allegations of threatening a judicial magistrate in connection with the alleged rape and kidnapping of two foreign women.

Additional and Sessions Judge Abdul Quddus heard the interim bail application. The court had previously granted interim bail to the SHO and directed him to appear before the court today. However, after he failed to appear, the court dismissed his interim bail on the grounds of non-compliance and proceeded with the case.

According to the police, a case has been registered against SHO Defense-C Farhad at Mustafabad Police Station. The FIR alleges that he entered the judicial magistrate’s residence at night, violated the sanctity of the home, and threatened the magistrate. Further legal proceedings in the case are underway.
