Islamabad (HRNW)- The National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) has announced that the second national polio vaccination campaign will begin in Pakistan from April 13.
According to the NEOC, during this campaign, about 45 million children will be vaccinated against polio across the country, and more than 400,000 frontline workers will participate in the campaign.
The NEOC said that the campaign will also be conducted in other parts of the country, including Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition, the polio vaccination campaign will continue in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Islamabad.
The NEOC has appealed to parents to cooperate with frontline workers to vaccinate their children so that the national goal of making Pakistan polio-free can be achieved.
