Islamabad (HRNW) – Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep concern over reports of ceasefire violations. In his message on social media, the Prime Minister said that reports of ceasefire violations have been received at some places in the conflict areas. He said that these violations are damaging the spirit of the peace process.
Shahbaz Sharif sincerely appealed to all parties to show restraint and responsibility. He clarified that the parties should respect the ceasefire for two weeks as per the agreed agreement and diplomacy should be given a chance to play a central role in the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The Prime Minister tagged the US President, US Vice President, US Secretary of State, and Steve Wittkoff in his tweet. Along with this, he also included the Iranian President, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and the Iranian Foreign Minister in his message.
This move of the Prime Minister reflects the efforts of the Prime Minister to promote peace and diplomatic process in the region.
