SARGODHA (HRNW): A chilling incident of mass murder has shaken the village of 25 South, near Bhagtanwala, where a man allegedly slaughtered six members of his own family inside their home late last night.
The suspect, identified as Yasin Mallah, reportedly attacked his wife, four sons, and daughter with an axe while they were asleep. According to preliminary reports, the brutal assault left no survivors among his immediate family. Following the massacre, the suspect attempted to take his own life and was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Police and forensic teams arrived at the scene early this morning to collect evidence and shift the bodies for post-mortem examinations. While the motive behind the gruesome act remains unclear, local authorities have launched a high-level investigation into the mental state of the suspect and any potential domestic disputes.
