Islamabad (HRNW)- The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has begun interviews for candidates seeking appointment as High Court judges.
According to sources, interviews for candidates of the Islamabad High Court are being conducted in the first phase. Interviews for the Sindh High Court are scheduled for July 14 and 15, while candidates for the Lahore High Court will be interviewed on July 16 and 17.
The interviews are being held in the committee room of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, with the interview committee headed by Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi.
Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelum, is serving as a member of all interview committees. Meanwhile, Justice Amir Farooq will chair the committees conducting interviews for candidates seeking appointment to the Sindh High Court and Balochistan High Court.
Attorney General for Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan is also a member of the interview committees, alongside Senator Farooq H. Naek, Senator Syed Ali Zafar, and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon.
