Russia and Ukraine Agree to 32-Hour Easter Ceasefire Amid Ongoing Tensions

Moscow/Kyiv (HRNW)- After the US-Iran tensions, a temporary ceasefire has now been agreed between Ukraine and Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a 32-hour ceasefire on the occasion of Orthodox Easter, which has also been approved by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The aim of this ceasefire decision is said to be a temporary reduction in tension on the occasion of religious holidays and a humanitarian pause in hostilities.

It should be remembered that last year, a 30-hour ceasefire was declared between the two countries on the occasion of Easter, however, during this time, allegations of violations were made by both sides.
