Warwick (HRNW)– In a British court, 23-year-old Ahmad Malakhel, an Afghan national, has confessed to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
According to reports, Malakhel had earlier denied the allegations, calling them false. In Warwick Crown Court, he admitted to the serious crime but denied two charges of kidnapping a child and sexually assaulting a child under 13. His accomplice, Mohammad Kabir, denied all three charges.
The crime occurred on July 22, and the next hearing is scheduled for January 26, with a preliminary session on December 12 for identification and other proceedings.
