NEW YORK (HRNW) – During a high-level session of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Pakistan categorically rejected India’s baseless allegations of cross-border terrorism. The Pakistani delegation maintained that New Delhi itself is deeply involved in financing, orchestrating, and executing terrorist activities, targeted killings, and subversive operations in foreign territories, backed by undeniable evidence.
Responding to the allegations leveled by Indian delegate Harish Prothani, Counselor Saima Saleem of the Pakistan Mission to the UN systematically dismantled the Indian narrative and exposed its state-sponsored terror network before the international community.
Key points raised by the Pakistani envoy include:
The Kulbhushan Jadhav Confession and the Quetta Train Blast
-
Living Proof of State Subversion: Counselor Saima Saleem emphasized that the arrest and subsequent confession of serving Indian Navy Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav inside Pakistan remains undeniable living proof of India’s state-backed espionage and subversive operations.
-
The Quetta Train Bombing: The Pakistani envoy specifically highlighted the recent catastrophic train bomb blast in Quetta, Balochistan, citing it as a glaring contemporary example of terrorism actively patronized, facilitated, and funded by Indian intelligence networks.
Jammu & Kashmir as an International Dispute and Violations of the UN Charter
-
Not an Internal Matter: Pakistan rejected India’s rhetoric, firmly stating that Jammu and Kashmir is by no means India’s internal matter. It remains an internationally recognized dispute that India itself originally brought to the Security Council.
-
Defiance of UN Resolutions: The Pakistan Mission reminded the Council that by continuously evading the implementation of binding UNSC resolutions, India stands in flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter.
Hindutva Fascism and the Suppression of Minorities inside India
The Pakistani delegate also strongly criticized the Modi administration’s Hindutva ideology, which has normalized systemic atrocities against minorities within India. She briefed the international community on the state-sanctioned discrimination and violence targeting Muslims, Sikhs, Dalits, and Christians. Furthermore, she noted that the demolition of historic mosques, targeted destruction of Muslim-owned properties, and state-sponsored Islamophobia have completely unmasked India’s claims of being a secular democracy.
