Srinagar: Indian Army Havildar Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances Inside Rangreth Barracks

SRINAGAR (HRNW) – An Indian Army Havildar died under highly mysterious circumstances in the Srinagar district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the incident took place inside the military facilities located in the Rangreth area of the district.

Initial details surrounding the incident include:

Unconsciousness and Medical Evaluation

  • Discovery in Barracks: The army Havildar was unexpectedly found lying unconscious inside his living quarters/barracks at the Rangreth military post.

  • Emergency Transit: Fellow soldiers immediately shifted him to the nearest military medical facility in an attempt to provide urgent medical assistance.

  • Confirmation of Death: Upon arrival at the hospital, attending doctors examined the non-commissioned officer and officially pronounced him dead, noting that he had passed away before reaching the facility.

Military authorities have reportedly initiated an inquiry to ascertain the exact and final cause of the Havildar’s sudden demise, while further diagnostic and autopsy details are awaited. Over the years, rights observers have pointed out a high incidence of sudden deaths among Indian occupation forces deployed in the valley, frequently attributed to severe psychological stress, cardiac arrests, or internal fratricide.
