Three Killed Including Two Minor Girls in Nawabshah Land Dispute Police Launch Major Crackdown

Nawabshah, Pakistan (HRNW)  A violent land dispute in the limits of Keshwar Pur Police Station in Nawabshah claimed the lives of three people, including two minor girls, and left eight others injured.

According to police sources, armed clashes erupted between rival groups of the Bhand community over a land conflict. As a result of indiscriminate firing, 11-year-old Zarqoon, 8-year-old Sadaf, and 45-year-old Imdad Bhand were killed. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where some are reported to be in critical condition.

District Police Officer Sameer Noor Channa (SSP Nawabshah) reacted strongly to the incident, declaring that those responsible would not escape the law. “There will be no forgiveness for those who played with innocent lives. Police personnel will not withdraw from the area until the last accused is arrested. Only the writ of the law will prevail here,” he stated.

According to the police press release, a large-scale combing and search operation is underway to apprehend the absconding suspects. Security has been tightened in and around the area, with checkpoints established to monitor movement.

The Sindh Home Minister has also taken notice of the incident, granting authorities a “free hand” and directing immediate and effective action.

The tragic incident once again highlights the alarming consequences of land disputes and the influence of powerful groups in rural areas, where conflicts often escalate into deadly violence.
