Hyderabad (HRNW)– Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan, has said that Justice Baqar Najafi’s note in the Noor Muqaddam case accurately represents the values of an Islamic society. He stated that the rise in social evils and crimes in our country is primarily due to the neglect of Islamic teachings — a reality that the Honourable Justice has rightly drawn to the attention of the nation and its rulers.
He added that some secular elements have taken strong offense to the Judge’s note. Naturally, those who oppose Islamic injunctions in a country established in the name of Islam will not appreciate any reminder of Islamic values. However, Justice Baqar Najafi has fulfilled his moral and constitutional responsibility by highlighting a major societal problem, and for this he deserves appreciation and congratulations from the entire nation.
