Hyderabad (HRNW )-The Vice President Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI), Shan Sehgal, attended the “Meet & Greet” event organized by Anjum Nisar, President of the Chiniot Shaikh Society. The event was graced by prominent business leaders from across the country. The program aimed not only to raise funds for welfare activities but also to promote constructive dialogue on key issues faced by traders and industrialists.
The Chief Guest of the occasion, Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs & Chairman Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh, appreciated the vital role of the business community and shared his views on promoting investment, industrial growth, and strengthening cooperation between the government and the private sector.
Shan Sehgal effectively highlighted the core challenges confronting traders and industrialists. He stated that the Hyderabad Chamber has always served as a strong voice for the business community and will continue to work closely with chambers across the country to advocate for policy reforms, tax rationalization, resolution of the energy crisis, and improved business facilitation. He urged the Federal Minister to introduce special packages and incentives for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to help stabilize and strengthen the national economy.
Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh appreciated HCSTSI Vice President’s views and assured him that he would soon meet with the leadership of the Hyderabad Chamber to take practical steps toward resolving business-related issues.
The event was also attended by the President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Faheem Sehgal, along with other leading figures of Pakistan’s industrial and business sectors, including KATI Chairman Akram Rajput, former President of the Karachi Chamber Iftikhar Vohra, former Vice President KCCI Asif Pilot, and FPCCI leadership including S. M. Tanveer and Fiaz Magoon.
The gathering proved to be an important step toward strengthening inter-chamber relations, formulating collective strategies for national economic development, and promoting collaboration across the business community, with the active participation of the Vice President of the Hyderabad Chamber further highlighting the institution’s dynamic and effective role.
