El Fasher – Sudan (HRNW)– The UN Human Rights Office reported that Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) massacred more than 1,000 civilians in the Zamzam displacement camp in April.
Witnesses described widespread executions and sexual violence. The UN has called the atrocities possible war crimes requiring urgent international accountability.
