Human Rights Organizations Raise Alarm Over Kashmir Leadership’s Treatment in Indian Courts

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (HRNW)- Global human rights organizations have expressed deep concern today over the alleged use of Indian courts against Kashmiri leadership in occupied Kashmir. A statement released today highlighted that Yasin Malik and other Hurriyat leaders are being denied medical facilities in jails, which constitutes a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions and the Universal Charter of Human Rights. The international community has been urged to intervene immediately to save the lives of Kashmiri prisoners.
