Sydney (HRNW)– Australian authorities have formally charged the injured suspect involved in the recent Sydney shooting with 50 counts, including terrorism-related offenses, the police confirmed.
According to officials, the investigation did not find any evidence of terrorist training during the suspect’s visit to the Philippines, as stated by the Philippine Presidential spokesperson.
The charges mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation, with authorities emphasizing that the legal process will continue based on collected evidence, ensuring accountability while maintaining public safety.
