Multiple Bombing Incidents Reported in Kabul, Paktia and Kandahar Amid Rising Security Concerns

Kabul (HRNW)- Spokesman of the Taliban government Zabihullah Mujahid has confirmed that bombing incidents occurred in several parts of Afghanistan, including Kabul, Paktia, and Kandahar.

According to Afghan media reports, an airstrike targeted a Taliban military base in Kabul at around 1:50 am. However, authorities have not yet released detailed information regarding the nature of the attack or possible casualties.

Reports also stated that the Taliban’s Mansouri Corps base in Paktia province was bombed twice. In addition, aerial activity was observed late at night over Kandahar.

Some local media outlets claimed that a Pakistani aircraft was seen flying over Kandahar after midnight, though no official source has confirmed or denied these reports.

Officials said that information is being collected and the security situation across the region is being closely monitored.
