Massive Fire Engulfs Fiber Factory in Karachi’s Korangi Mehran Town, No Casualties Reported

Karachi (HRNW) A sudden and intense fire broke out in a fiber factory located in Korangi Mehran Town, quickly engulfing the entire building.

Fire brigade officials said that initially one fire tender was dispatched, but due to the severity of the blaze, additional vehicles were immediately called. The factory contained a large quantity of fiber material, causing the fire to spread rapidly and severely damage the structure. Parts of the building even collapsed during the incident.

A total of eight fire tenders and two water bowsers took part in the firefighting operation. According to Fire Officer Zafar Khan, the factory was empty at the time of the fire. Firefighters broke the locks to enter and start the operation. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Fire brigade officials confirmed that the fire has been completely controlled, and the cooling process will begin soon. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
