Peshawar (HRNW)- On the Pak-Afghan border situation, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the recent tension on the Pak-Afghan border is worrying.
Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi, while describing the recent tension on the Pak-Afghan border as worrying, said that protecting every inch of Pakistan is the national duty of all of us and no one will be allowed to compromise on the security of the border areas.
In his statement, the Chief Minister strongly condemned the provocations and external aggression on the border and said that he is constantly reviewing the situation and is in touch with all the relevant institutions in this context.
He clarified that the protection of the people of the border areas is the top priority of the government and all necessary steps are being taken to protect their lives and property.
Sohail Afridi further said that the government is fully aware of the concerns of the people of the border districts and they will not be left alone under any circumstances. He directed the administration to remain on high alert to deal with any emergency situation, emphasizing that it is imperative to adopt responsible behavior for peace and stability in the region.
