Islamabad (HRNW)– Justice Tariq Jahangiri has filed a complaint with the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, raising allegations related to interference in pending cases, exerting pressure for expedited hearings, and advising resignation.
In his complaint, Justice Jahangiri claimed that Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar personally summoned him for a meeting, during which he reportedly faced undue pressure regarding judicial proceedings. The complaint highlights concerns over judicial conduct and calls for a formal review by the Supreme Judicial Council.
The matter is now pending with the SJC, which is expected to assess the allegations and determine appropriate action.
